Our approach, which delivers early and lasting success and business value, has provided government organizations and Fortune 100 companies with the tools and information needed to make fact-based, data-driven decisions, analyze changing business conditions and facilitate strategic planning.
Assessing & Developing a BI Strategy
Daston works closely with our customers, leveraging our proven methodology to assess and develop a BI strategy that meets the specific requirements of an organization. This process typically encompasses the following activities:
- Identify opportunities and pain areas and assess information needs across the organization
- Determine BI capabilities required by matching BI components to the opportunities, pain areas and information needs discovered during the assessment
- Define the BI initiatives by developing an organization-specific model for implementation of each BI capability
- Conduct a technology assessment in parallel with other assessments to gain an understanding of the complexity of the existing systems' architecture and the existing level of BI maturity
- Develop BI Strategy and Roadmap including a BI Vision statement, a set of objectives that the BI Strategy can be measured against, an interactive approach to implementing BI capabilities, and effective, focused, sustained governance
