Luxury Boy Toys (LBT) is a privately held company that manages a public web site where sellers of high-value products and services meet. Typical products would be rare/expensive automobiles, airplanes, antiques, jewelry, etc. The customers of LBT are private owners, companies and brokers who subscribe to the LBT web site in order to post the upscale items they wish to sell or trade. Additionally, LBT offers these clients services (up-sell) to support their transactions, including listing assistance, photography and video assistance, customer validation, title transfers, appraisals, financing, insurance and product delivery. The site also offers social networking services.

When Ron Corker, COO of LBT, decided to bring his startup ecommerce business up to the “speed of light”, NetSuite provided the ideal solution. Integration of all business processes, all in real time, was a key-determining factor for Ron’s selection. In addition, NetSuite’s multiple layers of data protection ensures that Ron’s customers and vendors can conduct business confidently. NetSuite contributes to LBT’s business model by managing the back-end functions for LBT. LBT utilizes the Accounting/ERP, as well as the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities of NetSuite.

Daston managed the NetSuite implementation for LBT. Daston’s SaaS team worked with LBT to ensure a smooth implementation by keeping them engaged in all the steps of the project. In less than four months’ time LBT’s Accounting was fully functional and the CRM capabilities were configured to provide Customer/Contact/Activity Management, Case Management, Sales Force Automation, Incentive Compensation, and Marketing Automation. LBT is also using NetSuite for Item Management, Order Management, and Purchasing functions. Daston also configured role-based Dashboards for LBT which, in terms of Ron, make it easy to see exactly where they stand in real time.
