Daston delivers strategic financial services and support for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Health Information (OHI).  That includes design, implementation, operation and maintenance of financial data collection, compilation, and reporting tools.  Results allow OHI managers and executives a better contextual understanding of funding issues and provide critical information for accurate  decision making.

Daston supports and facilitates several key IT governance bodies that provide the interface between VA’s IT organization and VHA’s operational delivery of Healthcare IT services to medical providers and Veterans.  Concurrently Daston supports OHI executives by monitoring OHI workflow processes and strategic planning exercises that support decisions on budget formulation and execution, technology acquisition, and financial management.  Daston helps the VHA OHI source and implement flexible and adaptable information technologies.  This allows VHA keep pace with the advancements in healthcare for our Veterans and raise their level of care.
