Daston wins GSA contract
Daston will continue the support of GSA Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in new multimillion dollar contract.  Daston provides infrastructure support, including program management, local support services, consolidated help desk, 508 compliance, client services, network operations, and financial management services.  We have been working with GSA since 2002 and manage 3 subcontractors as part of the FAS Program Management Office (PMO).  Daston currently assists with the establishment of their Quality Management Program (QMP), Enterprise Architecture (EA), Capital Planning and governance model.

NetSuite releases mobile cloud computing business productivity suite for iPhone

The latest development in the rapidly growing mobile cloud computing market was this week's announcement from NetSuite, releasing the first mobile cloud computing enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch.

The NetSuite application, available for free on the iTunes App store, allows users to access their NetSuite ERP, CRM and ecommerce operational data on the go using NetSuite's cloud computing platform.

NetSuite’s green initiative shaves thousands off their electric bills

NetSuite, a on-demand enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship managing (CRM) service has announced the results of a recent independent sustainability impact study done by Greenspace. According to the results “by vastly reducing the need for servers and support equipment, such as server room air conditioning, Greenspace found the average NetSuite customer can cut its electricity bill by more than $10,000 per year.” When this is applied to the overall costs of hardware, software licenses, maintenance, personnel and occupancy, NetSuite adds, “the cost reductions can exceed $100,000 per year, per customer.”
