Sheila Tomlinson

Sheila has more than 25 years of experience supporting the government contracting industry, with an emphasis in developing and implementing successful financial system technology strategies for her clients.

As Daston’s Chief Program Management Officer (CPMO), Sheila leads the overall Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure programs and projects meet Daston’s organizational standards. Using her Program Management Professional Certification (PMP), Sheila trains and mentors project leaders to improve processes, procedures, and standards. Sheila manages Daston’s NetSuite Practice, establishing the practice’s overall direction and strategic initiatives and ensuring that products, services, and deliverables are of the highest quality to ensure client satisfaction.

As a Certified Business Systems Analyst (BSAC), Sheila utilizes her ability to analyze and access business processes to bridge the gap between business goals and technical requirements that result in fully accepted project deliverables. Sheila has a proven track record of directing the evolution of technical and non-technical solutions from concept through implementation and managing the needs of the customer, the consulting practice, its associated teams, and projects.

Sheila is NetSuite SuiteFoundations Certified with more than 25 years of experience in the use, upgrade, implementation, and integration of ERP solutions particular to addressing the Government Contractor (GovCon) industry needs. As a Senior Consultant for other GovCon ERP solutions, she has architected and implemented hundreds of ERP systems.

In prior roles, Sheila served as the Controller for NJVC where she was responsible for all accounting and financial operations. Additionally, Sheila was the Principal Project Manager for CSC where she managed GovCon projects.  At Daston she has excelled in NetSuite + DCAA-on-Demand implementations.  Lastly, she was a Senior Business System Analyst for Deltek Systems where she managed the relationship between corporate IT and Finance and was instrumental in defining technology needs and solutions selection, implementation and coordination support.
